It's currently listed with a quantity of 61, but needed to grab one more to finish the build completely.
In the history of changes it went from 63 to 61 in order to move 1 to the extra parts section (changed on Apr 22, 2005)

I went through the instructions and you are correct. There are 62 needed to build
the main model.
